So, is Savannah Guthrie Republican or Democrat? The answer is: she’s Savanah Guthrie. She’s a journalist, a mom, a lawyer, and a person who decided that her job is to ask questions, not answer them. That’s a beautiful thing.
And here’s the uplifting note I promised: in a world that feels so divided, her example reminds us that we don’t have to be defined by a label. You can be curious, fair, and even a little mysterious. You can learn about politics without having to pick a team jersey. You can listen to both sides and still laugh at a silly joke on morning TV.
So go ahead—google Savannah Guthrie’s voting record. Chat with your friend about it. Heck, even debate it with your uncle over turkey dinner. The point isn’t to “win” an answer. The point is to enjoy the hunt and remember that people are more interesting than any party line.
Let this little trivia be a spark. It might just inspire you to learn more about your own beliefs, or to appreciate the people who keep us guessing. After all, life is more fun when you’re not stuck in a box. And Savannah Guthrie? She’s out here living proof that you can thrive in the space between. Now go make your morning coffee, and smile at the mystery.
