First, buy two bottles. Trust me on this. One for sipping, one for emergencies. An “emergency” can be defined as “a Tuesday.” Or “I just saw my electric bill.” Or “my favorite show ended and now I have nothing to live for until next week.” The rules are flexible.
Second, get creative. Have you tried Baileys on ice cream? It’s like a boozy milkshake, but classier. Or mix it with coffee for an adult breakfast that will make you feel like a functioning human. Pro tip: pour it over a glass of milk for the world’s easiest—and most dangerous—nightcap. You’ll be asleep before the credits roll on your Netflix documentary about bees.
And for heaven’s sake, don’t forget to refrigerate it after opening. Nobody likes warm, sad Baileys. It’s like a broken dream in a glass. Keep it cold, keep it happy, and keep it coming.
What About the Competition?
Look, I love a good bargain as much as the next person. Aldi and Lidl have their own versions, and they’re fine. But they’re not Baileys. They’re the sidekick in a superhero movie. Baileys is the main character. It’s smoother, creamier, and has that secret ingredient that makes you go, “Mmm, I should probably stop drinking this… but also, no.” So at £10, it’s a no-brainer. Pay the extra few quid for the real masterpiece. Your taste buds will give you a standing ovation.
Tesco slashes the price of Baileys to 'lowest price of the year
Tesco’s timing is also perfect. Christmas is creeping up like a creepy uncle at a wedding, and we all need a little liquid armor. Plus, January is coming, and we’ll all be pretending to be healthy. So grab this deal now, while the gettin’ is good. Stockpile it. Hide some in the back of the cupboard. Label it “cleaning supplies.” You do you.
