Stop worrying about your empty inbox of job applications. Focus on your medical condition and how it ruins your ability to work. Unemployment is just a side effect of disability, not the main event.
So, can you get disability if you’re unemployed? Yes—if your disability is real, documented, and severe. The system is weird, slow, and occasionally absurd. But it’s also designed for people like you: stuck, frustrated, and just trying to survive.
Now go grab your medical records. Write down every time your condition made you cry, quit, or cancel plans. That’s your new resume. And it’s way more valuable than any job application.
