Marathon runners and frat hazing victims have fallen victim to this—so unless you’re training for a race or being hazed by a very misguided fraternity, you’re probably fine.
The rule is simple: listen to your body. Your thirst mechanism is actually smarter than a bunch of internet articles. If you’re peeing more than every hour, ease up. If your urine looks like apple juice, step away from the energy drinks and grab a glass of the clear stuff.
