When the rumors hit a fever pitch, Bradley did what he does best: he made a joke about it. On social media, he posted something like, “Don’t worry, I’m still here. They can’t get rid of me that easily.” Classic Brad. He’s also mentioned in interviews that he loves the show and plans to stick around until he’s “carried out in a box.”
Honestly, I believe him. The man’s got a Doctor Who spin-off, a stand-up tour, and a thousand other gigs. He doesn’t need the job—he wants it. And that’s the best kind of host to have.
But What About the Future?
Okay, let’s play devil’s advocate for a second. Could Bradley ever leave? Sure, eventually. Everyone retires or moves on. But “fired” is a nasty word. It implies he did something wrong, and there’s zero evidence of that. Zero. If he ever steps down, it’ll be on his own terms, probably with a teary goodbye episode and a golden handshake.
ITV The Chase's 'best ever player' shares real reason he was 'fired
Rumor has it that ITV is actually trying to lock him into a longer contract. That’s the opposite of firing. So, if you saw a headline screaming “Fired,” take it with a grain of salt—and maybe a side of skepticism. The internet loves drama more than it loves facts.
