Arrive early. The arena doors usually open 90 minutes before the show, and the concourse is a mini carnival of games and merch. There’s a special “Create Your Own Hot Wheel” booth where you can design a car and take it home—for about £15 it’s a surprisingly good keepsake.

Dress in layers. Arenas are notoriously unpredictable—one minute it’s an icebox, the next you’re sweating from the pyrotechnic heat. Comfortable shoes are non-negotiable because you’ll be walking around the pit area.
Food hack: Most arena hot dogs are a tragedy. Instead, hit up a food truck outside the venue (many arenas have a “marketplace” area) before you head in. You’ll save a tenner and eat something that doesn’t taste like rubber.
