Let’s do the maths. Support act: 25 minutes. Interval: 20 minutes. Peter’s set: 1 hour 45 minutes. Encore: 20 minutes. Total? Around 2 hours 50 minutes. Sometimes three if he’s feeling extra chatty.
Add on the time to get to your seat and the slow shuffle out of the car park. You’re looking at a solid three-hour commitment from when you walk in the doors.
But honestly? It feels like half that. Time warps when you’re laughing until your cheeks ache. I’ve seen people check their watches and look shocked it’s already 10:30 PM.
What About the Theatre’s Curfew?
Most venues have a strict curfew—usually around 11 PM. Peter knows this. He won't keep you past midnight like some rock bands, I promise. He’s a pro.
But he will push it to the limit. You might get home later than you planned. Especially if you’re stuck in a traffic jam of people all humming “Amarillo.”
So plan your taxi or bus accordingly. Don’t book a ride for 10:30 PM. You’ll miss the best bit—the final, unplanned joke that leaves the whole room in hysterics.
