Don’t rely on carolers or Whoville town criers. Check the McDonald’s app or your local store’s social media. They usually post countdowns like, “The Grinch is here until December 24!” But remember: sold out is the Grinch’s love language.
Pro tip: Go on a weekday morning around 10:30 a.m. When the lunch rush hasn’t started, and the grumpy cashier hasn’t had their third coffee. You’ll be in and out faster than the Grinch sliding down Mount Crumpit.
McDonald's is seeing green with its Grinch Meal
What Happens If You Miss It?
Don’t panic. McDonald’s has a rotating holiday roster. Next year, the Grinch might be back, or we’ll get a Max the Dog meal. Who knows? Maybe a “Cindy Lou Who” salad (kidding—McDonald’s doesn’t do salads, remember?).
Life is short, and so is the Grinch Meal. That’s the beauty of it. It’s a tiny, green burst of holiday chaos that reminds you to enjoy the little things. Even if the “little thing” is a milkshake that looks like antifreeze.
