The first Walking Dead Compendium was released in 2009, and it was a game-changer. It collected the first 48 issues of the series, which is like the entire first season of the show. Since then, there have been three more Compendiums released, each one covering a significant chunk of the series.
So, just how many Walking Dead Compendiums are there? Well, as of 2026, there are four Compendiums in total. Each one is a beast of a book, weighing in at over 1000 pages! That's a lot of reading material, but trust us, it's worth it.
