Bradley met Donna back when he was a stand-up comedian and part-time football try-out. (Yes, he was a professional footballer. Briefly. He’s as surprised as you are.) She worked in a bank, and he was doing a gig at a club she happened to visit. He says he “charmed her socks off,” which probably involved a lot of of Cockney chat and a dodgy joke about his hair.
They’ve got one son together, Barney Walsh, who now acts alongside his dad on Gladiators. It’s adorable and mildly unsettling to see a mini-Bradley with the same chin.

When asked how they’ve lasted so long, Bradley once quipped, “I let her think she’s in charge.” Classic. He also credits their sense of humour and the fact that they genuinely like spending time together.
