Don’t panic. The box comes with most parts. You’ll need an adjustable wrench, a drill (maybe), and a bucket for the inevitable “oops” moment. Also grab a Teflon tape—it’s the duct tape of plumbing, and it smells like victory. Oh, and a sense of humor. Because you will get water on your pants.
Most systems come with a tiny flow restrictor. Don’t lose it. It’s smaller than a jellybean and more important than your phone charger. If you do lose it, just pretend it’s a magic bean and order a replacement online.
