When all else fails, infuse aggressively. Think beyond cucumber and lemon. Try sliced strawberry and fresh basil. Or a few blackberries and a sprig of rosemary. These aren’t “fancy spa waters”—they’re flavor bombs that annihilate tap-water sadness.
Don’t bother with store-bought “flavor drops.” Those are sugar-and-artificial-sweetener traps that will defeat the entire point. Instead, make a big pitcher of infused water overnight in the fridge. By morning, the fruit has released its essence, and you have no excuse to not hydrate.
One more insane tip: a single drop of food-grade peppermint oil in a glass of water. It tastes like a Christmas miracle. But test it first—too much, and you’ll be drinking toothpaste water. (A mistake I made twice. Both times were horrible.)
