Open your photo in Photoshop. Duplicate that background layer by pressing Ctrl+J (or Cmd+J on a Mac)—trust me, you want a backup.
Now, head up to the top menu and click Filter > Sharpen > Shake Reduction. Yes, it’s like magic for camera shakes.
Let Photoshop do its little robot dance. You’ll see a preview—if it looks too crunchy, lower the Smoothing slider a bit. Voilà, your blur is now a crisp memory.
When Shake Reduction Isn’t Enough
Sometimes the photo is just soft—not shaken, just lazy. That’s when you call in the big guns: Unsharp Mask.
Go to Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask. I know the name sounds like a bad horror movie, but it’s your best friend.
Set Amount to around 50–80%, Radius to 1.0, and Threshold to 0–2. Click OK, and watch your photo go from “meh” to “yeah.”
