Stansted’s drop-off zone is pure theatre. It’s a swirling vortex of honking cars, stressed drivers, and people who stop in the middle of the road for a hug. Do not stop there unless you enjoy £60 fines. Seriously, it’s a trap.
Instead, use the Short Stay Car Park. It’s not romantic, but it’s safe. Pull up, park, and walk to arrivals. You’ll feel smug knowing you avoided the drop-off drama. Plus, you can stretch your legs and practice your “surprise!” face.
If you’re feeling fancy, the Meet & Greet service is a godsend. You drive to a special lot, they take your keys, and you waltz in like a celebrity. It costs a few extra quid, but so does your sanity. Your call.
