You don’t need toxic sprays. Spiders hate strong smells. Peppermint oil is their kryptonite.
Mix ten drops of peppermint essential oil with water in a spray bottle. Shake it. Mist your windowsills, doorways, and dark corners.
It smells like a fancy candy store to you. To a spider? It smells like absolute doom. They will turn around and walk out. I’ve watched it happen. It’s glorious.
Vinegar works too. Mix equal parts vinegar and water. It smells a bit like a salad, but who cares? Spiders hate it.
