Picture this: 15,000 people dressed in black eyeliner and glitter, all sweating together in a glorious, sticky hug. There was a woman in her 40s crying into her vape, and a teenager crowd-surfing in a full tuxedo. No one judged. We were all lost in the same fever dream.
I also spotted a guy holding a literal unicorn inflatable during “High Hopes.” Security tried to confiscate it—but the unicorn won. It floated majestically above the mosh pit like a neon guardian angel.

The Stage: A Circus That Escaped From a Lab
The production looked like Tim Burton and a Vegas casino had a beautiful, chaotic baby. There were confetti cannons that shot out actual dollar bills (fake, sadly), and a giant disco ball that descended from the ceiling during “Girls/Girls/Boys.” It was so sparkly I got a mild seizure. Worth it.
Brendon also performed inside a giant mirror ball that opened like a flower. I’m 90% sure I saw a dove fly out—or it was just a rogue pigeon. Either way, it was theatrical gold.
