Sure, why not? September 1st is usually still warm. Not “melt your face off” hot, but nice. Perfect for one last swim or a picnic without sweating through your shirt.
But Mother Nature is a trickster. Sometimes it’s a surprise heatwave. Other times, it’s suddenly fall, and you’re wearing a hoodie over your swimsuit.
Pack for both. It’s the only safe bet. A sweater, shorts, and a rain jacket. You’ll look like a confused hiker.
