They live so close that Ant and Dec often walk to each other’s houses. No cars. Just a stroll down the lane.
One time, Ant borrowed a lawnmower from Dec at 10pm. Dec let him borrow it, but made Ant promise to return it with petrol. Only true friends do that.
They also share a local pub called The Crooked Billet. They’re regulars. Once, Dec bought a round for everyone. He signed the tab as “The Big Dog.” Ant was furious he didn’t think of it first.
The “Weirdest” Thing in Dec’s House
Dec has a life-size cardboard cutout of Ant. It’s in his hallway. He tells guests it’s a “security guard.”
But here’s the kicker. The cutout wears an actual hat and coat. Ant’s mum saw it once and tried to have a conversation with it. Dec nearly cried laughing.
Yes, these are real people. With real (and slightly absurd) homes.
