You can’t have a pub that iconic without a real boozer. The Nag’s Head was shot at a place called the White Hart in Harlesden.
Only the exterior was used. The famous fight scenes? The “lovely jubbly” moments? That was all inside the BBC studio.
But the White Hart is still there. It’s now a bar. You can stand exactly where Del Boy fell through the bar. True story.
Just don’t order a “Trotters Independent Traders’ special.” They don’t serve that.
The “Peckham” you see is a glorious lie.
The show is set in Peckham, but the filmmakers hated the real one. They thought it was too busy and modern.

Instead, they shot the street scenes in Acton, West London. And a bit in Hammersmith.
Remember the market where Del buys dodgy sunglasses? That’s Greenwich Market. Not Peckham at all. Cheeky.
They even faked the Yellow Pages shopfront. The real one in Acton is now a convenience store.
