Cat doesn’t have a five-day-a-week contract like some hosts. She’s a busy bee with her own projects, from presenting major award shows to filming in the U.S. Right now, she might be off doing something glamorous—like judging a dance competition in Hollywood or sipping a latte in the Cotswolds.
But here’s the twist: absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? When Cat does appear, it feels like a treat—like finding a forgotten £20 note in your coat pocket. You don’t need her every day to appreciate her magic.
Is she really gone for good?
Not at all! The show rotates a roster of guest hosts and regulars, so Cat is more like a delightful surprise guest. One week she’s there, the next she’s off doing voiceovers or hanging with her family. It’s a smart move—keeps the show fresh, and keeps Cat from getting stale like a week-old biscuit.
Compare it to your favorite barista. If they made your coffee every single morning, you might take them for granted. But when they take a day off, you suddenly miss their perfect foam art and cheery “Good morning!” See what I mean?
Cat Deeley interrupts This Morning with exciting baby announcement | HELLO!
Plus, let’s not forget: Cat Deeley is a pro. She’s hosted live TV for decades, so she knows when to step back. She’s not glued to one chair like a barnacle on a boat. And honestly? That’s cool. It means she’s living her best life, picking gigs that excite her.
