This game has nine main dungeons. That’s a lot. Each one feels like a giant, ticking puzzle box. The Water Temple in this game is actually fun and not annoying.
The Temple of Time is a love letter to Ocarina of Time fans. You move giant statues, manipulate time blocks, and fight a beautifully creepy Dark Link in a white void. A Switch 2 remake could make that battle look stunning with ray-tracing.
The Cave of Ordeals is pure masochism. 50 floors of monsters. No checkpoints. You get bragging rights and a giant gold rupee. For the remake, add online leaderboards for speed runs. Please, Nintendo.
